The Springhill Institute is a medium-security federal corrections facility located in Springhill, Nova Scotia, on a 167 hectare site having an inmate capacity of 636.

JSM was contracted to provide electrical services for a 200 unit prison expansion with high voltage underground distribution, secondary distribution, fiber backbone cabling system, lighting, high security alarms, monitoring, fire alarm, data, CCTV and building automation system.
