The FOL project in Rankin Inlet is a civilian/military airport facility.

The airfield electrical component of the project consisted of supply and installation of runway edge lighting for the 8000' runway, 20 unit rack mounted regulator bank, two field electrical centers, SSALR approach system and associated frangible towers up to 60' in height, airfield guidance signage, VOR site, apron high mast lighting and complete perimeter security flood lighting systems, PAPIs system, ARCAL system, REILs and a new AFL control system. All underground utilities and associated civil works performed by JSM own forces.
