This switchyard is located just outside the existing Granite Canal Hydro Generating Facility. It comprises a 230KV four-breaker ring that will interconnect the existing Granite Canal Hydro Generating facility and the new 230KV line to the Bottom Brook Switchyard.

JSM installed 27m high steel structures, disconnect switches, circuit breakers, CVT's, and surge arresters. The rigid bus systems and overhead strain bus system were also completed along with the installation of all high voltage and low voltage power and control systems.
