Runway 11/29 is St. John's International Airport's principal runway hosting the majority of flights in and out of the province. 

JSM was contracted to complete a renewal of the entire system which included, demolition of existing runway inset lighting systems, installation of 460 in-pavement inset lights, elevated edge lights, threshold lighting, guidance signage, wind cones, high mast apron floodlighting system and modifications to AFL control systems. JSM also performed all underground utilities and associated civil works, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
