CFB Greenwood was established in 1942 as an air force training base and continues to be used for that purpose today.

JSM was contracted to reconstruct electrical systems on runway 08-26 including a complete electrical upgrade, complete runway and taxiway elevated lighting, PAPI, SSALR Approach, ODAL, concrete manholes and concrete encased duct bank system as well as ICAO compliant photometric testing. As the project prime contractor, JSM provided all associated civil works.
